With more than 250,000 sprinklers installed each year, our teams propose automatic fire extinction solutions by sprinkler (in accordance with the N1 certification) to protect your infrastructures against the risk of fire, by day and at night, according to your needs.
To date, all our sprinkler installations have successfully contained fires. Not a single case of total destruction has been reported in the establishments where our sprinkler protection systems are installed.
Our technical fire risk prevention experts analyze your installation together with your teams and all the other players in the project (insurance company, specialized prevention experts or engineering offices) to establish whether it is compatible with the new specific requirements and the legal standards applying to the systems (French, European or American).
ENGIE Axima designs and installs the sprinkler-type water-based automatic extinction system in accordance with the following standards:
Our design engineers specialized in sprinkler installations perform calculations to check the hydraulic suitability of any existing networks that could potentially be reused. Our studies may be completed by readings and layout and network diagrams that are all included in the project for your installation.
We also have our own teams of operational and responsive fitters. Our interventions are discreet and compatible with your site’s operations.
Our teams dedicated to the 30-year servicing of your fire safety installations will work with you to bring your automatic extinction sprinkler system up to the latest standards that apply after 25 of 30 years.
The 30-year service constitutes a guaranteed in-depth audit of your fire safety. It is adapted to delivering long-lasting and optimized installations.
A new N1 certificate or a certificate of conformity is issued after the 30-year inspection of your installations.
With its extended national geographical coverage, ENGIE Axima is never far from your installations for maintenance purposes, no matter how many sites you have.
Automatic sprinkler systems are compulsory in establishments open to the public, where the surface area receiving the public exceeds 3,000 m², and in certain installations classified for the protection of the environment, such as warehouses, parking lots and industrial sites.
Sprinklers are self-contained, safe and recognized devices. Their performance is demonstrated by the fact that 96.5% of fires are brought under control by the activation of a fixed water-based automatic extinction system with only 30 sprinkler heads.
Sprinklers, or water-based automatic extinction heads, are extremely reliable and are installed above the protected zone. Today, they offer the best solution for the protection of property and people against the risk of fire.
First, sprinklers detect the fire, then they raise the alarm, while extinguishing the fire, or at least containing it until the fire service arrives.
Sprinklers are fixed-temperature thermal detectors. A sudden rise in the temperature causes the bulb or the fuse that keeps the head closed to blow. The permanently pressurized water lines connected to the head enable the sprinklers to spray the zone that is on fire with water. When the water flows through the pipes it sounds a hydraulic gong that raises the alarm in the guardhouse.
A container is a painted and insulated prefabricated module that is delivered to the work site “ready-to-use”, thereby minimizing the need for civil engineering.
They are very popular with our customers, who appreciate the fact that they can install our prefabricated containers themselves.
ENGIE Axima Sécurité Incendie offers a genuine competitive advantage by supplying a turnkey solution (simplified civil engineering) to facilitate the deployment of your project. This solution is entirely modular, because the container can be moved if the site is extended.
A container can be placed in a building and kept available to the customer during the works phase.
Thanks to our prefabricated containers, you can:
Save time (no need for planning permission and shorter engineering cycles), while saving space too
